Disturbia



Distressed by his father's untimely death, a teenager (Shia LaBeouf) begins
acting out and soon finds himself under house arrest after getting into trouble
one too many times. To help pass the time stuck indoors, he begins spying on his

Mr Bean gaat op vakantie naar de Franse Riviera en raakt verstrikt in een Europees avontuur van formaat.
Bean is het natte, troosteloze weer in Londen beu en pakt zijn koffer en camcorder om het zonnetje op te zoeken aan het strand van Cannes. Ah...vakantie! Maar zijn reis verloopt niet zo vlot als gehoopt en de eeuwig stuntelende Bean komt terecht in een reeks ongelukjes en toevalligheden die vergezocht genoeg zijn om er zijn eigen avant-garde film van te maken.
Na een spoor van ravage te hebben achtergelaten op zijn tocht door het Franse platteland komt Bean eindelijk in Cannes aan met de vroegrijpe zoon van een Roemeense regisseur en een eerzuchtige actrice in zijn kielzog. Hij wordt aangezien als een kidnapper én als een bekende regisseur. Zal hij worden opgepakt door de gendarmes of wint hij de Gouden Palm?

They should have sticked with Bruce Almighty, period.

Y'day I saw Death Proof



Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) seems like a nice enough guy. He's willing to buy a
pretty girl to drink and offer her a ride home if she has more than one. Except,
Mike's built his car as a four-wheeled death machine and any passengers
unfortunate to ride shotgun with him wind up dead — as does anyone else on the
road he doesn't like. But when he picks on a stuntwoman (Zoe Bell) and her tough
movie set best friend (Rosario Dawson), Stuntman Mike may have made a very bad
mistake. Originally released as one-half of the double-billed Grindhouse.

My rating : B

Good casting, hot cars, awesome car chases, lack of action, solid retro country / pop whatever soundtrack & mostly a lot of dialogues. Tarantino at his best!
